Here are some websites that provide valuable information about hepatitis C topics.
HEPATITIS C WEBSITES and BLOGS
British Columbia
HepCBC Hepatitis C Education and Prevention Society
For people who live in British Columbia, this is a key resource for HCV information.
Pacific Hepatitis C Network
Here’s another excellent resource. The site contains a video from Daryl Luster, president of the Pacific Hep C Network. I heard him speak at the 4th Canadian Symposium on Hepatitis C. He is a true and thoughtful hero in promoting support for those with HCV.
The Hepatitis C Treatment Information Project
For those of you who think visually, The Hepatitis C Treatment Information Project has an awesome graphic artist. The site describes itself as “a web-based hepatitis C treatment information toolkit for entering into that world and building your understanding about hep C treatment.”
Canada
CATIE
This is probably the most comprehensive informational source for hep C patients in Canada.
Elizabeth, thank you for for your efforts to raise awareness about hep c. The voice of people with lived experience is powerful, and I appreciate your voice greatly. We have made strides in a few short years in treatment and awareness, and there is still much to do. Access to care and treatment remains a huge obstacle for people living with HCV, considering we can now cure people of this dreadful disease at rates approaching 100%. Thanks again for stepping forward and adding your voice.
